Apart from its exceptional intrinsic value and the artistic masterpieces it contains, Cologne Cathedral bears witness to the strength and endurance of European Christianity. Madrigalis performed beautifully to a crowd of worshippers and tourists hundreds strong, the sound within the cathedral and the setting were simply stunning.
